Traders will see reduced activity this week as U.S. stock and bond markets close for Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 27. Equity markets reopen Friday with an early close at 1 p.m. ET, while fixed-income trading concludes at 2 p.m. ET.

The holiday pattern repeats in December. Markets will operate on shortened schedules for Christmas Eve (December 24) and remain closed for Christmas Day. New Year's follows a similar cadence—full trading on December 31 except for bonds closing early, with complete closures on January 1.
